About the Author
The MacPlumber has developed, implemented and delivered user-focused web sites for clients since 1994, exploring creative user interfaces, intelligent site organization, scripting, and crisp graphic design. He co-founded Tapestry Web Design in 1995, serving clients primarily in downstate New York.
An award-winning web developer, he created web sites for the University at Buffalo's original main web site in 1995 and subsequently many of its schools, including the the Schools of Law, Management, and Engineering. His work for the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, "Buffalo and Beyond" earned him the CASE Silver Award in 1996. His project, "Origin of a Browser," attracted much national interest - from members of the original team who created Netscape to national newspapers including the New York Times.
Since giving up professional web development in 1997 to pursue graduate-level studies, he volunteers his services toward the creation of websites for a variety of interesting organizations.
